Description
This 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is one of 600 examples built worldwide, just 141 of which were designated for the US market. Now with 144 miles, the car is powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six linked with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Carrara White over black leather and red Alcantara. Equipment includes the Sound Package Plus, the Chrono Package Plus, white 19″ center-locking wheels, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, a front axle lift system, bi-xenon headlights, an adjustable rear wing, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment, navigation, and air conditioning.
The 997 GT3 RS 4.0 features a carbon-fiber hood, front fenders, and rear wing, which contributes to a weight reduction of 22 pounds compared to the contemporary GT3 RS. This example is finished in Carrara White (B9A) and is equipped with gray and red stripe graphics, bi-xenon headlights, headlight washers, fog lights, Dynamic Cornering Lights, LED taillights, and dual center-mounted exhaust outlets.
White 19″ center-locking multi-spoke wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport SP Cup2 tires measuring 245/35 up front and 325/30 out back. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded calipers over ceramic-composite rotors. The GT3 RS 4.0 was factory equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) featuring adjustable coilovers, and the car features a front axle lift system.
The cabin houses hard-back sport seats upholstered in black leather and red Alcantara, and matching Alcantara extends to the headliner, door armrests, rear center console, and shift knob. Interior amenities include Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment, navigation, a CD stereo, the Sound Package Plus, a leather steering column casing, red seatbelts, and air conditioning.
