Description
This 2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is a Heritage Edition example that was ordered with the Carbon Fiber Track Pack and the Technology package. Now indicating 7 miles, the car is finished in Brittany Blue Metallic over ebony upholstery with gray accents. Powered by a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 linked with a Tremec seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential, the car is further equipped with HID headlights, carbon-fiber 20″ seven-spoke wheels, Brembo brakes, Recaro seats, a Bang & Olufsen 12-speaker audio system, and SYNC 3 infotainment with navigation.
All GT500 Heritage Edition examples were finished in Brittany Blue Metallic, and this example was optioned with painted Wimbledon White over-the-top stripes. Exterior details include a louvered hood, HID headlights, LED taillights with sequential turn signals, and the Carbon Fiber Track Pack, which added front splitter wickers and a manually adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing.
Exposed carbon-fiber 20″ seven-spoke wheels are mounted with Michelin tires. The car is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and a MagneRide damping system. Stopping power is provided by six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo brake calipers fitted over two-piece ventilated rotors. The Carbon Fiber Track Pack added adjustable strut top mounts.
The Recaro seats are trimmed in Ebony upholstery with gray accents and Shelby logos on the backrests, and the rear seats were deleted as part of the Carbon Fiber Track Pack. Carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin, and additional appointments include a SYNC 3 infotainment system with an 8″ touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and Ford Track Apps. The Technology Package included a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, voice-activated navigation, and BLIS blind-spot monitoring. Factory-installed plastic covers are located on the seats, footwells, and other interior components.
