Description
Finished in black over black leather and red Alcantara, the car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes an an Akrapovic exhaust system, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, a locking differential, black-finished 19″ GT2 RS center-lock wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, a fixed rear wing, xenon headlights, the Sound Package Plus, PCM with navigation, and automatic climate control.
All 997 RS cars featured a carbon-fiber hood, side intakes, and trim in addition to titanium exhaust outlets, aluminum door skins, and a front hood decal in place of the standard badge. This example is finished in black and is equipped with xenon headlights, clear taillights, dual exhaust outlets, and a fixed rear wing.
Staggered-width 19″ GT2 RS center-lock wheels are finished in black and are mounted with 245/35 front and 325/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires that show date codes from 2015 and 2011, respectively. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) were standard equipment on the GT2 RS.
The cockpit features bucket seats upholstered in black leather with red Alcantara inserts and debossed Porsche-crest headrests. The GT2 RS omitted the rear seats in favor of lightweight carpets, and carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin. Interior amenities include the Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Sound Package Plus, cruise control, automatic climate control, and PCM with navigation.
