Description
The GT3 RS features lightweight glass, vented front fenders, and a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) front trunk lid, roof panel, and rear swan-neck-hinged wing with drag-reduction (DRS) functionality. The CFRP panels are finished in exposed carbon-fiber weave on Weissach Package-equipped cars.
The Tribute to Carrera RS Package pays tribute to the 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7 with Python Green wheels, mirror caps, GT3 RS side graphics, rear badging, and rear wing accents. This example is finished in white and has LED-Matrix Design headlights with PDLS+, a rear fog light, a backup camera, rear parking sensors, Exclusive Design taillights, and dual center-exit exhaust outlets.
Python Green 20″ and 21″ forged lightweight magnesium center-locking wheels are mounted with staggered-width Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. Stopping power is provided by Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) with cross-drilled and ventilated discs at each corner. The car is equipped with a front-axle lift system, rear-axle steering, and the Weissach Package, which added carbon-fiber front and rear anti-roll bars and coupling rods.
The carbon-fiber bucket seats are trimmed in black leather with Race-Tex inserts, “Weissach RS” embroidery on the headrests, and Tribute to Carrera RS tailoring with Python Green stitching that extends to the dash, center console, knee pads, and door panels. Carbon-fiber trim accents the cabin as well as the illuminated door sill guards, while the carpets are protected by Porsche-branded floor mats with leather edging and deviated stitching. Further appointments include Porsche Communication Management infotainment with navigation in addition to a Bose surround-sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, an ambient lighting system, and auto-dimming mirrors.
