Description
The 997 Speedster featured widened rear bodywork and a wider track than the contemporary Carrera as well as a front bumper and fenders from the 911 Sport Classic, 997 GT2-style side skirts, a raked windshield, and an aluminum twin-hump convertible-top cover panel. This example is finished in Pure Blue with a black soft top, and additional equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights, daytime running lights, rear ParkAssist parking sensors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets.
Staggered-width 19″ Sport Classic alloy wheels are finished in black with lighter outer rims and are mounted with Bridgestone tires that have date codes from 2010. Braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) with yellow Porsche-branded calipers.
The two-place cockpit features heated power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather with Pure Blue leather sides, two-tone checkered seat bottom accents, and blue Speedster-script headrest embroidery. Body-color trim adorns the interior, and amenities include a Bose surround-sound system, automatic climate control, driver’s seat-position memory settings, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) 3.0 with Bluetooth and navigation.
