Description
The 458 was designed by Ferrari’s Donato Coco in collaboration with Pininfarina, and the Speciale model included active front diffusers, a vented front hood, aero fins on the side skirts, and a rear diffuser with integrated exhaust outlets.
This example is finished in Bianco Avus with red and green NART center stripes and features the advanced front lighting system, front and rear parking sensors, LED taillights, carbon-fiber fender vents and sill fins, electrochromic mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets.
Black 20″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires measuring 245/35 up front and 305/30 at the rear. The car is equipped with magnetorheological dampers and a suspension lift system, and braking is handled by yellow-finished Ferrari/Brembo calipers over cross-drilled carbon-ceramic rotors at all four corners. The Speciale received a retuned side-slip angle control system compared with the 458 Italia.
Weight-saving measures on Speciale models included carbon-fiber door panels and dash trim as well as carbon seat frames. This example features Goldrake seats upholstered in Nero leather with Tricolore accents along with a leather-trimmed headliner. Additional amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, an infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, HomeLink connectivity, embroidered headrests, and drilled aluminum pedals.
The multifunction steering wheel fronts column-mounted shift paddles and features LED shift indicator lights as well as a red engine-start button and an adjustable manettino that toggles among several traction control and vehicle settings. Instrumentation consists of a central tachometer with a 9k-rpm redline, flanked by two configurable displays.
